I’m a licensed psychologist and certified health services provider in North Carolina. I specialize in the nature and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and phobias, as well as commonly co-occurring conditions such as depression and alcohol misuse. I especially value supporting veterans navigate the transition from military to civilian life. I’m a nationally recognized expert in exposure-based therapies for PTSD, OCD, and anxiety disorders. Exposure therapy is a time-limited, results-oriented approach that helps people overcome thought and behavior patterns holding them back from living their desired life. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, live music, and exploring all that makes Durham unique.

Are you a military service member or veteran? I provide PTSD treatment at no cost to military community clients through The Headstrong Project. To learn more and self-refer, visit theheadstrongproject.org.

I’m approved by the PSYPACT Commission to provide telepsychology across state boundaries. For a list of current PSYPACT participating states, please visit psypact.org/psypactmap
