Hi there, I’m a licensed psychologist and a certified health services provider in North Carolina. I believe that a good fit between you and your therapist can make a world’s difference in how therapy feels and goes. My therapy approach is best described as evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, compassionate, and collaborative. My hope is that therapy is (or becomes) a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space for you to be your genuine self and work through and towards your goals that reflect what is meaningful and important to you.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with trauma (including PTSD and moral injury), substance use, anger/irritability, and anxiety (including panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, phobias, and social anxiety). I also have extensive experience working with military servicemembers, military veterans, and first responders.

Central to my professional and personal values are embodying what it means to be a social justice advocate at individual, group, and systemic levels. One way I bring this into therapy is by fostering a space where you can explore how individual and cultural experiences impact your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and other life experiences.

I currently offer services exclusively via telehealth (video) for individuals located in North Carolina.

Outside of work, I enjoy doing DIY woodworking projects, gardening, and fostering/volunteering for dog rescue efforts. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if any other information would be helpful to help you determine whether we may be a good fit.
